Do I need any special knowledge to be successful in my manners teaching business?

No, but you do need what I call "a heart for young people." The ready-to-teach Everyday Etiquette curriculum has everything you need to teach children's manners classes. You'll receive a recommended reading list with helpful books and articles to build your knowledge and confidence further.

Which grades and ages will I teach?

The Everyday Etiquette curriculum is flexible and can be adapted to all ages. Straight "out of the box," it is perfect for grades 3- 7 (approximately 8-13 years old). I do provide advice for modifying it for other ages, both older and younger. I have used the curriculum to teach students as young as kindergarten age. It can even be adapted to college student workshops as well with some creativity!

How will I find students? Where will I teach?

I share proven step-by-step instructions on this topic in the Manners Business Quick Start course. Marketing, finding free PR, using social media, etc. are included. I teach Everyday Etiquette in a variety of settings. Anywhere there are students; you can teach. I've even taught in a gym! Schools, community centers, private clubs, churches, restaurants, even your own home can be the setting for a class. You'll learn more about finding locations in the Quick Start Course.

How much will I earn?

You decide how much you earn because you own your manners teaching business- you are the boss! Your earnings will align with your effort and how much you choose to work in your business. You will set your pricing and payment policies. In The Teach Manners! You receive the complete Everyday Etiquette Teaching Curriculum when you join. The curriculum is easy to teach, and, most importantly, the curriculum lessons are engaging and effective. You also receive add-on lessons, games, themes, activities, and crafts so that you can easily customize your classes, if you desire.
